What every term means
Return on ad spend (ROAS)Sales ÷ ad spend. 2.0 means every $1 of ads brings $2 of sales.
Average order (AOV)What a typical customer spends, averaged across your offers by how many pick each.
Kept before adsPrice minus product and shipping, card fees and refunds. What's left to pay for the ad and profit.
Ad cost per orderPrice ÷ ROAS. At 2.0 ROAS, a $60 order costs $30 of ads.
Break-even ROASThe return where you make exactly $0. Below it, every new customer loses money.
Subscription reordersRepeat orders from subscribers. No new ad needed, so you keep the whole "kept before ads" amount.
First orders onlyMonth one. Reorders haven't arrived yet, so this is the cash you actually see at first.
Incl. reordersOnce subscribers start reordering (1 to 2 months in). The steady state, if the reorder guesses hold.
Agency feeWhat the agency ad account charges: a % of spend plus a fixed monthly fee.
